QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to use pertinent computer software applications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
JOB GOAL:
To complete the detail and written work and to coordinate other matters essential to the
efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative supervisors.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed, including enrollment information, and put it into usable form.
- Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process incoming correspondence as instructed.
- Place and receive telephone calls and record messages.
- Order and maintain supplies as needed.
- Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
- Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences and interviews.
- Welcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
- Operate word processors, computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.
- Perform usual office routines.
- Maintain such student records as shall be required.
- Maintain a daily teacher attendance log and the records for substitute teachers.
- Maintain a log of visitors to the school.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by building administrator.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
7.5 hours/day; 206 days school term
SALARY:
Based on experience. Salary for the remainder of the current school term will be prorated based on start date. |
