Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or GED. 
  2. One to three years of relevant experience. 
  3. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English preferred). 
  4. Must demonstrate cultural competency. 
  5. Must be able to travel. 
  6. Must have a valid driver’s license.
  7. Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification.

Preferred: 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 
  2. Two or more years of experience in social services or related fields. 
  3. Experience doing home visits and parenting education, case management, problem solving, and team building.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

Reports to: Director of Special Services

 

 

Purpose: Using a strengths-based approach, advocates for multilingual learners and their families by removing language and educational barriers in order to provide access to high quality educational opportunities.

Salary Schedule: Classified grade 7

 

Terms of Employment: 10 months
