QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  3. Ability to use pertinent computer software applications
  4. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

                                                                            

 JOB GOAL:

 

To complete the detail and written work and to coordinate other matters essential to the

efficiency and effectiveness of the administrative supervisors.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed, including enrollment information, and put it into usable form.
  2. Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process   incoming correspondence as instructed.
  3. Place and receive telephone calls and record messages.
  4. Order and maintain supplies as needed.
  5. Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
  6. Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences and interviews.
  7. Welcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
  8. Operate word processors, computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.
  9. Perform usual office routines.
  10. Maintain such student records as shall be required.
  11. Maintain a daily teacher attendance log and the records for substitute teachers.
  12. Maintain a log of visitors to the school.
  13. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by building administrator.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:

7.5 hours/day; 206 days school term 

 

SALARY:

Based on experience. Salary for the remainder of the current school term will be prorated based on start date.
